In this pivotal role, you will leverage your three years of relevant experience to enhance safety practices in various civil construction projects. Your NCSO designation will be crucial in developing and implementing effective safety programs while maintaining strong communication with field teams. Support a culture where safety is paramount and genuinely prioritized across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement health and safety programs and procedures
• Regularly inspect construction sites for compliance
• Lead safety training sessions including orientations
• Develop and review safe work procedures as needed
• Act as liaison with WorkSafeBC during inspections
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in health and safety within heavy industry
• NCSO designation required; CRSP would be an asset
• Strong knowledge of civil construction hazards
• Proficient interpersonal skills for crew engagement
• Valid driver’s license for site-to-site travel
