Take charge as a Working Foreman in civil construction, focusing on projects across the Lower Mainland. Drive safety and efficiency with your crew on site.
Our client, a recognized civil contractor, seeks an experienced Working Foreman to play a crucial role in managing civil construction projects. This position requires hands-on involvement in excavation, underground utilities, and roadwork, while also leading a team of 4–10 workers. Your experience in supervising and problem-solving will be invaluable in ensuring compliance and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a crew efficiently across civil construction sites
• Read and execute civil drawings and grade specifications
• Coordinate with project management for daily tasks
• Implement safe work procedures per WorkSafeBC standards
• Track project progress and compliance with timelines
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of civil construction experience
• Proven capability in a foreman or lead capacity
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver's licence
• Relevant safety certifications including Fall Protection
