Overview
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role on a major infrastructure project, taking the lead in managing complex construction changes that shape project success. You will be at the heart of decision‑making—analyzing impacts on cost and schedule, driving clarity, and delivering accurate, transparent insights that enable the project team to move forward with confidence.
Your roleResponsibilities include:
- Monitoring and recording impacts on construction costs, including labour, material, equipment, subcontracts and preliminaries.
- Ensure compliance with prime contract obligations.
- Preparing impact analyses and prime contract correspondence.
- Work with the scheduling team to evaluate delays and productivity impacts arising from changes.
- Work with the project controls team to optimize and leverage project controls systems in the management of change.
- Support site teams in understanding and adhering to change management tracking obligations.
- Interface with the owner, design and engineering teams, and other third parties as necessary.
Additional wider support:
- Support procurement teams with the commercial administration of subcontracts.
- Support construction and project controls team with overall project cost reporting.
- Other quantity surveying and commercial management tasks as required for the project.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, law or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in complex change management on infrastructure projects, including delay and disruption analysis.
- Strong knowledge of PPP/Target Cost/Collaborative Contracting models.
- Ability to translate technical issues into commercial reasoning.
- Strong contract interpretation and drafting skills.
- Strong change analysis skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail.

CompensationExpected compensation for this role is between $120,000 - $150,000 annually (Only applicable to British Columbia). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters such as skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
