Construction Safety Officer

Axiom Builders is seeking a Construction Safety Officer to join our Vancouver and Coquitlam teams. With over 12 million square feet under construction, we prioritize the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for tracking safety issues, performing inspections, and leading emergency response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor safety by tracking incidents and suggesting improvements

• Document risks using our safety software, Hammertech

• Conduct orientations and training for workers and subcontractors

• Perform safety inspections and hazard assessments

• Lead emergency response and investigate incidents

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of safety experience in construction

• Advanced First Aid (OFA Level
3) certification

• CSO designation or similar accreditation required

• Residential construction experience preferred

• Additional safety training considered an asset
