Stantec seeks an experienced Senior Cost Advisor to join our Program Management group. In this role, you will evaluate costs, prepare estimates, and ensure project milestones are met across various sectors including healthcare and infrastructure. Your communication skills and cost assessment capabilities will be crucial in achieving client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough cost risk assessments for projects
• Support project procurement and contract negotiations
• Establish site-specific estimating criteria
• Present detailed project cost reports to stakeholders
• Solve complex estimating issues with innovative solutions
Requirements:
• At least 10 years in a Civil estimating capacity
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with construction practices and estimating methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of industry costing software
• PQS designation is a plus
