Health and Safety Specialist

In this role, you will report to the Health and Safety Supervisor for BC and manage safety requirements on construction sites. Utilize your knowledge in Environmental Health and Safety to ensure compliance with Flynn policies and legislation while supporting project managers and superintendents with coaching and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage safety standards on construction sites and equipment

• Conduct safety evaluations using standardized processes

• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety practices

• Identify risks throughout the job life cycle

• Perform incident investigations and maintain documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in a safety role in construction

• Formal training in Occupational Health and Safety

• Familiarity with ICI construction and flatroofs

• Knowledge of Working at Heights and WHMIS

• Valid driver’s license is required
