Senior Quantity Surveyor

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance their Cost Management team across Canada. This position plays a pivotal role in managing costs, supporting commercial and contractual responsibilities, and overseeing accurate budgeting for construction projects. Your expertise will drive success by mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with local standards throughout various project lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost planning and estimating across project phases

• Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids accurately

• Manage contract variations, claims, and final accounts

• Monitor project costs and prepare detailed reports

• Engage in value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis

Requirements:

• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

• Professional member of CIQS or RICS preferred

• Proficient with cost management software

• Bilingual (English/French) is an advantage

• Experience in estimating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
