Become an Intermediate Estimator, focusing on high-value infrastructure projects—those worth $100 million and above. Your skills in cost analysis and estimating will be vital to project success.
This role encompasses the preparation of detailed cost estimates from project specifications and ongoing budget evaluations. You will perform quantity take-offs and prepare necessary documentation while collaborating on project design and subcontractor selection. Your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing bids and refining costs based on market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop direct cost estimates from project requirements
• Organize and prepare bid close documents
• Prepare budget presentations for management review
• Conduct thorough reviews of design deliverables and estimates
• Source and manage subcontractor/vendor packages
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of estimating experience in civil construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Proficient in database estimating software and Excel
• Experience with CAD and digital programs preferred
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
