As a Construction Safety Expert, you'll work alongside project teams, helping to implement safety standards and manage risks effectively during all phases of construction. Your extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations will be pivotal in maintaining records and ensuring all procedures align with WorkSafeBC requirements, thereby fostering a culture of accountability among all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an active presence on-site for safety leadership

• Document daily inspections and maintain a Daily Safety Journal

• Facilitate toolbox talks and orientation for Trade Partners

• Coordinate safety investigations and track corrective actions

• Monitor safety equipment and conduct emergency drills

Requirements:

• BCCSA Construction Safety Officer certification required

• 3–5 years of relevant construction safety experience

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and requirements

• Experience in managing safety documentation systems

• Valid First Aid certification with Transportation Endorsement
