Project Supervisors work directly with our Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. Supervising operations personnel and working on various projects in the field ensures the Project Supervisor is always on the move. With their extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and passion for getting work done on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.

Overseeing Large and Complex commercial and residential rebuilds/restoration projectsDealing with permits and city representatives on commercial and residential projectsCollaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of workCommunicating with Project Managers, direct reports, and home ownersWorking within a budget to get a job doneLeadership and Coaching Field StaffHealth & Safety on jobs sitesLeading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomesResponsibility for team scheduleMonitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfactionDocumentation of site visits and job progressSite Safety InspectionsWorking on the tools as requiredWhat You Bring
3-5 years of Construction or Restoration related experience1 years in a supervisory roleLeadership abilities and a preference for teamworkExperience in the restoration industryExcellent time management and organizational skillsPrevious experience with flood and fire damageOccupational First Aid – Level 1Knowledge of building materials and schedule of timeline to complete tasksCommercial and residential experience – renovation/restoration vs new buildSuperior communication skills: dealing with homeowners, Project Managers, Stakeholders and employeesFinish Carpentry experience (ability to work tools as needed)Ability to work within a budgetWork ethic and the ability to bring this out in othersTech savvy, ability to document and upload work progressStrong Organizational skillsValid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)Why You’ll Love Working Here

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
