Mechanical Project Manager

Our client is a well-established mechanical contracting firm in the Lower Mainland with a growing portfolio of commercial and institutional projects.
With work ramping up, they’re investing in strengthening their Project Management team to better support operations and project delivery.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY   This is a high-impact Mechanical Project Manager opportunity for someone who wants to step into a business that’s actively building out structure, process, and PM coverage.
The priority is immediate: they need a PM who can take ownership of projects, bring consistency, and help create capacity as the company continues to pick up momentum over the next 6 months.
You’ll be joining a team that values quality delivery, accountability, and strong coordination across the office and field.
ABOUT THE POSITION   Lead mechanical projects end-to-end from kickoff through closeout (planning, execution, turnover).
Manage budgets, costing, forecasting, change orders, and reporting.
Coordinate internal teams, site crews, and subcontractors to keep schedules and deliverables on track.
Own client communication: meeting cadence, updates, issue resolution, and expectations management.
Drive project documentation and controls (RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, deficiencies, closeout packages).
Support continuous improvement—help tighten processes and create repeatable PM rhythms as the company scales.
THE REQUIREMENTS   Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager delivering commercial and institutional projects (HVAC / plumbing / mechanical scope).
Strong command of scheduling, cost control, and change management.
Comfortable running multiple stakeholders and priorities without things slipping.
Clear communicator (client-facing) with strong internal coordination habits.
Local market awareness and ability to operate in a fast-moving contractor environment.

Experience with project management systems/tools (construction PM software, Excel-based tracking, etc.).
COMPENSATION   $100,000 – $140,000 base salary (depending on experience)
