We establish the Creative direction for our brand and through a deep understanding of guests needs, cultural references and science of feel solutions, we create innovative products that address our guests’ unmet needs. We create products distinguished by their silhouettes, fit, function and style. We are responsible for designing the global product assortment, creating the global colour palette, seasonal prints and graphics. We are dedicated to cultivating a culture of continuous learning and growth, where Designers are empowered to push boundaries and unleash their full potential.

A day in the life
  • Research and stay informed of relevant global cultural and aesthetic trends, and global guest preferences. Analyze how trends and colours emerge and influence your product category. Collate research, identify patterns and draw conclusions. Edit research through the lens of our brand strategy.
  • Create black and white sketches, in accordance with research, brand identity and in fulfillment of the brief intent and IMU targets. Create 3D mock ups and in house prototypes to support your 2D sketches, as required. Present sketches to Design leaders.
  • Select fabrics and trims from the Raw Material library for your styles.
  • Apply colour and graphics to the assortment, inclusive of new, core and carryover styles, in consideration of feasibility, known limitations and commercial viability.
  • Present coloured up sketches to cross-functional partners for sketch review sign off. Clearly communicate its alignment to the brief and the sources of inspiration and references for your design.
  • Complete technical sketches detailing materials, construction techniques, trims, and fit. Handover the tech sketches to PD/TD and collaborate with technical developers to ensure accuracy and commercial feasibility.
  • Fit styles to ensure design intent is accurately captured and IMU targets are met. Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations for necessary adjustments.
  • Present physical prototypes of on-body garments to cross functional partners to prepare for commercial sign-off at proto review.
  • Maintain the colour assortment as required, based on feedback and change requests from Design leadership and cross functional partners.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of product design experience
  • BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Design Skills - To creatively conceptualize, design and construct garments that are aesthetically pleasing, functional and commercially viable, using a blend of artistic vision, technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Communication - Clearly articulate design ideas and concepts to the team, stakeholders and cross functional partners, both verbally and visually. It also involves listening and incorporating feedback.
  • Aesthetic Intelligence - Understand and appreciate the nuances of design. It involves an understanding of beauty and style in order to create designs that are visually pleasing and resonate with the target audience. It involves a deep understanding of the Brand’s aesthetic and the…
