Position: Global Events & Experiences Lead | Contract until September 2026

Overview

Global Events & Experiences Lead | Contract until September 2026. Global Partner Events & Experiences Lead. As a Global Partner Events & Experiences Lead you will play a critical role within the Global Events & Experiences team. You will support a portfolio of events that power our business objectives, bringing our brand and culture to life for our internal and partner collective.

You will support planning and execution of various events and brand experiences, and help build a globally coordinated approach to create experiences relevant to guests and employees while distinguishing our brand. You will foster cross-functional relationships with a global mindset and support the full event life cycle from concept to execution and guest experience, ensuring each touch point expresses the lululemon brand.

Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Strategy – Support project strategy, approach, resource planning and the roadmap for a portfolio of global events that support long-term growth and evolution of the global event strategy.
  • Cross-functional Partners – Collaborate with internal, global, and external partners to bring events in the partner portfolio to life around the globe.
  • Team Trainings – Develop event training plans for the extended team (staff, contractors, volunteers, vendors, suppliers) and lead briefing and on-site training.
  • Event Logistics – Support event brief development; project management; create operational plans; manage ongoing communication, budget and execution.
  • Vendor Management – Select vendors for owned work using lululemon preferred vendors and source new relationships; participate in or own vendor relationship management.
  • Guest Journey (Innovation) – Create and innovate a strategic guest journey to develop relevant, influential, and new approaches to event experiences and objectives.
  • Reporting – Lead collection of feedback from guest surveys, debriefs with teams and vendors; create post-event reports, KPI reporting and budget reconciliation.
  • Global Consultation – Advise on event experiences across regions by developing integrated channel plans and sharing learnings and best practices.
  • Event Support – Support events organized by the Global Events & Experiences team.
What you bring
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; 5-8 years’ relevant experience in event planning/production, marketing, public relations or related field
  • Experience strategizing and managing large-scale capability projects with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Experience in data capture, reporting and analytics; familiarity with policy/procedures is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with entrepreneurial approach
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction and seek guidance as needed

How you’ll work
  • Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Events & Experiences
  • Portfolio: Global Partner Events & Experiences including Analyst events, Vendor events, Media events, Ambassador events, lululemon Gives events, and strategic partner events
  • Location/Travel: Vancouver based. Global team with occasional travel for key events

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 annually; base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
