Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pop/Musical Theatre Singing Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either pop or musical theatre vocal styles, performance coaching, and teaching experience. This role involves guiding students in vocal technique, stage presence, and interpretation, helping them become confident and versatile performers.

Responsibilities- Design and conduct engaging lessons in pop and musical theatre vocal styles for individual and group classes.
- Teach vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal projection, and tone quality.
- Coach students in song interpretation, character development, and performance skills relevant to both pop and musical theatre.
- Cultivate a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that inspires students to explore their unique talents.
- Prepare students for recitals, showcases, and other performance opportunities.
- Provide regular feedback on student progress and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with the faculty team to integrate voice training within the larger performing arts curriculum.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Vocal Performance, Theatre Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in performing arts.
- Prior teaching experience in pop and/or musical theatre singing.
- Proficiency in vocal technique, repertoire selection, and performance coaching.
- A passion for musical theatre and pop music and the ability to inspire and connect with students.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, inclusive teaching style.
- Availability for evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate class schedules.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.
