FOLKS is seeking a Mid-Level Compositor to work on moderately complex shots. You'll be responsible for integrating CG elements, performing troubleshooting tasks, and mentoring junior artists. A solid proficiency in Nuke and Mocha is essential, alongside basic Python scripting capabilities for streamlining workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently on moderately complex compositing tasks
• Troubleshoot Nuke scripts and render performance issues
• Present and discuss work in dailies providing constructive feedback
• Guide and support junior artists during tasks
• Perform QC on your own and others' work for quality
Requirements:
• Proven experience in VFX compositing
• Proficient with Nuke and Mocha
• Basic Python scripting skills
• Strong communication skills across time zones
• Familiarity with playback tools like RV is a plus
