As a Senior FX Artist at ICON, you will spearhead complex visual effects production, collaborating closely with show and art directors to ensure high-quality results. Your expertise in software like Houdini and Maya will be essential as you tackle challenging shots and troubleshoot during production. Engage in R&D to develop reusable FX rigs, pushing the boundaries of innovation in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute complex visual effects with precision
• Tackle technically challenging shots that demand excellence
• Solve technical and artistic problems effectively
• Collaborate with leads to align effects with the creative vision
• Mentor junior artists to enhance team skills
Requirements:
• Over 5 years in visual effects for animation or film
• Expert-level in Houdini and/or Maya
• Strong artistic eye for timing and motion
• Proven mentoring experience with teams
• Ability to innovate and optimize FX efficiently
