Job Functions
  • Guest Services function of the resort: greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, complete guest registration, issue unit keys, provide resort information and area attractions, process cash and credit card transactions, balance cash receipts, perform shift bucket checks, post guest charges, complete cashier reports, prepare deposits, secure bank, complete checkout procedures, compute bills and verify charges.
  • Handle reservation management: reserve and confirm guest reservations, process cancellations, revisions, information updates, make pre‑arrival informational calls, provide room rate quotes.
  • Maintain positive guest, owner and associate relationships: respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns, resolve issues, make service‑recovery recommendations, promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with operational, safety and security procedures, resort operating procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Cultivate a “Count On Me” culture: exhibit the company’s philosophy, be responsive to guests and associates, deliver a great experience.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Travel Requirements

Travel is not a requirement for this position. If training is required off site, it will be local and about half to full day of time.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Priority given to customer service.
  • Problem‑solving with minimal supervision.
  • Reading, writing and understanding English.
  • Basic office skills including basic math and proper cash handling procedures.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, can‑do attitude toward guests and staff.
  • Multitasking and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • People oriented and able to work independently or with others.
  • Detail oriented.
Technical Skills
  • PC skills and knowledge.
  • Use of basic office equipment including fax, copier, printers.
  • Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Key systems.
  • Hotel hospitality front‑office system knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to switch frequently between activities while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard.
Job Experience
  • 1 year of guest services experience in a hospitality/hotel/resort environment preferred.
  • 1 year of customer service experience in service or retail environment preferred.
Compensation

Generally starting at $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the selected candidate will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
