Become a vital part of E-Comm as an Emergency Police Call Taker in Vancouver, British Columbia. Your role will be crucial in assisting the public during crises and dispatching necessary services.
This full time position operates 24/7 and is perfect for individuals ready to engage with emergency calls and first responders. Key responsibilities include receiving urgent 9-1-1 calls, creating reports, and supporting police and fire services. Key Responsibilities- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls
- Provide call-taking services for police and fire
- Create detailed reports for dispatch
- Relay important information to responders
- Assist the public during critical situations
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Typing speed of at least 44 WPM
- Knowledge of geography in Metro Vancouver
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident for 3+ years
