E-Comm is hiring for a vital role as an Emergency Police Call Taker. This full-time position operates around the clock, where your ability to manage urgent 9-1-1 calls is crucial. You will assist first responders and be instrumental in ensuring public safety by creating detailed call reports and relaying important information during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle emergency and non-emergency calls efficiently
• Support police and fire services through effective call-taking
• Generate detailed reports for dispatch purposes
• Communicate crucial information to first responders
• Aid the public in critical situations during emergencies
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Typing speed of at least 44 WPM
• Familiarity with Metro Vancouver geography
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident for 3+ years
