Part-Time Certified Dental Assistant PHS

Support oral health in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside as a part-time Certified Dental Assistant with PHS, helping individuals in need with professional dental care and education.

PHS Community Services Society is looking for a casual Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join the Portland Community Dental Clinic team.

Your role will primarily consist of assisting dentists, providing patient education, and managing clinical operations. This position is essential for improving access to dental services for underrepresented community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical assistance during dental appointments

• Prepare and maintain dental tools for procedures

• Conduct patient education on treatment and hygiene

• Organize patient records and appointment schedules

• Keep track of clinic supplies and inventory

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade-12 and CDA Certificate

• Valid registration as a Certified Dental Assistant

• Minimum one year of practical experience

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Experience with community health initiatives is a plus
