- Create a Memorable First Impression:
Greet new patients, provide a friendly tour of the clinic, and gather essential medical and dental information to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. - Capture High-Quality Diagnostic Records:
Take digital x-rays, intraoral and extraoral photos, scans, and wax bite registrations to support accurate treatment planning. - Support Ongoing Patient Care:
Prepare and maintain records for existing patients, and ensure all materials are ready for lab submission or internal use. - Maintain a Clean and Organized Records Room:
Restock supplies, disinfect equipment, and prepare deband kits, diplomas, and wax bites to keep the space efficient and welcoming. - Collaborate with the Team:
Participate in staff meetings, assist with tasks assigned by the orthodontist, and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment built on trust and cooperation.
- Licensed Dental Assistant (formerly referred to as a Certified Dental Assistant/CDA in British Columbia) and licensed with BCCOHP.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
- Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
