As a key advisor, you will provide vital support in developing strategies that enhance the self-determination of BC First Nations. This position involves guiding management, undertaking research, and addressing complex health issues in collaboration with the First Nations Health Council and Directors Association. Your contributions will play a critical role in improving health outcomes through effective governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer strategic support to management and program teams
• Develop strategies and processes to meet organizational needs
• Analyze health-related issues and prepare actionable recommendations
• Maintain collaborative relationships with health partners
• Write reports and briefings to advocate for First Nations needs
Requirements:
• Degree in public policy or related field plus experience
• Significant experience in project management and advisory roles
• Strong skills in writing and report preparation
• Asset: background in public health and policy
• Solid understanding of BC First Nations health structures
Utilize your skills in policy and community engagement to drive important health initiatives forward as part of the First Nations Health Authority.
