Enhance safety protocols as an Advisor for Workplace Violence Prevention at Providence Health Care. Lead initiatives that educate and empower staff across all organizational levels. This position plays a crucial role in shaping violence prevention initiatives throughout Providence Health Care. The Advisor will ensure compliance with OH&S standards while fostering solid partnerships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Create and execute violence prevention programs across PHC
Deliver training sessions to safety officers on trauma-informed practices
Analyze violence data to inform action plans
Communicate with province-wide Violence Prevention Committees
Ensure compliance through inspections and policy development
Champion violence prevention efforts and improve safety culture at Providence Health Care
Requirements Education in health and safety or comparable discipline
5+ years of experience in a unionized healthcare workplace
Robust knowledge of health and safety legislation
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven ability in organization and collaboration
