Enhance safety protocols as an Advisor for Workplace Violence Prevention at Providence Health Care. Lead initiatives that educate and empower staff across all organizational levels. This position plays a crucial role in shaping violence prevention initiatives throughout Providence Health Care. The Advisor will ensure compliance with OH&S standards while fostering solid partnerships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Create and execute violence prevention programs across PHC
- Deliver training sessions to safety officers on trauma-informed practices
- Analyze violence data to inform action plans
- Communicate with province-wide Violence Prevention Committees
- Ensure compliance through inspections and policy development
- Champion violence prevention efforts and improve safety culture at Providence Health Care
- Education in health and safety or comparable discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a unionized healthcare workplace
- Robust knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability in organization and collaboration
