Registered Dental Hygienist

Pay: CA $55.00 - CA $62.00 per hour

Full‑time / Permanent / 32 hours/week

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional patient care, maintaining oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental practice. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing professional cleanings, patient education, and assisting with various clinical procedures to ensure optimal oral health outcomes.

Experience with Dentrix is required.

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Perform intraoral scan, digital impression, night guard fabrication and delivery.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental management software.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Provide care to medically compromised people and the elderly.

• Previous experience working in a dental office setting is required.
• Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients.
• Prior experience in dental assisting or related roles will be considered an asset.
• Dental Hygienist: 1 year (required).
