Michael Green Architecture is a Vancouver‑based architecture and design studio that creates innovative, sustainable projects which push the boundaries of technology and construction to benefit communities and environments around the world. Our team is internationally recognized for leadership in mass timber and low‑carbon design, delivering some of the most significant timber buildings worldwide. Notable projects include Google’s first ground‑up mass‑timber workplace in Sunnyvale, California, and a new culture and community center in Gällivare, Sweden. Recent recognition includes Architizer’s 2025 Best Global Sustainable Firm.

WhatYou’ll Get Up To
- Lead and manage teams in the coordination of large‑scaled and complex projects
- Create and explore high‑quality design and planning concepts across numerous projects
- Work effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors
- Mentor, advise, and coach a team of talented junior and intermediate designers in a team‑oriented environment
- Promote and lead office‑wide initiatives, and support marketing and business development pursuits
- Instill and promote a culture of learning and development in the company with your empathetic leadership style
- 8+ years of architectural experience across a range of project types
- Experience leading large, complex projects through various project phases
- Exceptional design planning and the ability to communicate design concepts to a range of audiences
- Knowledge of municipal and government processes, building codes, and bylaws
- Excitement to uphold and tell the MGA vision
- Registered architects preferred
- Local Vancouver experience (BCBC, VBBL, Passive House or Net Zero are big bonuses)
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite
Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
