The City of Vancouver is hiring a Landscape Architect I in the Watershed Urban Design team. Candidates are expected to have at least a degree in landscape architecture and two years of experience in public infrastructure design. Your expertise will aid in developing sustainable plans, collaborating across departments, and managing projects effectively to ensure the city thrives environmentally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop urban design plans for green infrastructure

• Collaborate with city departments and external parties

• Review rainwater management strategies for developments

• Manage and prepare project documentation and materials

• Prepare concept visuals and public realm assessments

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in landscape architecture

• Minimum of two years in landscape and urban design

• Active membership in BC Landscape Architecture Society

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD and design software
