Our client is seeking an Architectural Technologist with recent experience working on high end custom residential projects in Metro Vancouver. This role focuses on the production of permit and construction documentation, consultant coordination, technical detailing, and ensuring projects move efficiently through approvals and construction. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Revit, possess a strong understanding of local building codes and zoning regulations, and be comfortable working independently on complex custom homes.

• Produce detailed building permit and IFC drawing packages using Revit
• Develop highly coordinated construction documentation for complex custom residential projects
• Coordinate structural, mechanical, civil, landscape, and specialty consultants
• Review zoning bylaws, municipal requirements, and development guidelines
• Prepare technical details and resolve construction related challenges throughout project delivery
• Ensure drawing quality, accuracy, and compliance with BCBC, VBBL, and municipal regulations
• Support projects through permitting, tendering, and construction phases
• Collaborate with project leads, consultants, builders, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of detail and organization

• 3+ years of recent experience working on high end custom residential projects in Metro Vancouver
• Strong Revit proficiency with experience producing permit and construction documentation
• Thorough understanding of BCBC, VBBL, local zoning bylaws, and municipal approval processes
• Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills
• Experience coordinating consultants and resolving technical project challenges
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
