Position: Urban Landscape Architect I Role
Join The Watershed Urban Design as Landscape Architect I and help shape the urban environment. This hybrid role emphasizes technical expertise in landscape architecture and green infrastructure development.

As a Landscape Architect I under Engineering Services, you will work alongside various city departments to implement rainwater management strategies and green infrastructure policies. This position requires a strong foundation in landscape and urban design, with at least two years of practical experience that you will leverage to create concepts and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and implement urban design and landscape plans

• Provide expert input for integrated rainwater management initiatives

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and agencies

• Review and support rainwater management proposals

• Manage specific projects focusing on landscape design and costs

Requirements:

• Degree in landscape architecture required

• Two years of landscape and urban design experience

• BC Society of Landscape Architecture membership

• Proficiency in design software, including Sketch Up and Photoshop

• Strong time management and communication abilities
