We are looking for an ambitious Senior Master Planner to join our global team, supporting the delivery of transformative master planning projects and helping expand our presence in the North American market and support a number of recent project wins.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our master planning team, you’ll lead bids, manage complex master planning assignments, and engage directly with clients to communicate design vision and value with clarity and impact. You’ll bring creativity, technical excellence, and strong storytelling skills to articulate ideas that inspire and deliver results.

Focus areas:

  • Planning – Develop area-wide strategic plans, place-economics strategies, and guide site selection through spatial analysis and multi-criteria frameworks.
  • Urban Design – Lead the creation of concept and detailed master plans for industrial projects, non-process infrastructure, worker accommodations, and commercial ports, with an understanding of placemaking in an industrial context.
  • Landscape – Contribute to landscape strategies and plans that integrate nature-based solutions, enhancing environmental performance and resilience.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in development infrastructure and master planning, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or urban planning with a master’s in urban design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, GIS;
    Revit and Dynamo skills are advantageous.
  • Passion for industrial master planning.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic and concept master plans.
  • Skilled in strategic site selection, multi-criteria assessments, and applying design thinking to develop human‑centric, sustainable, and commercially viable solutions.
  • Strong design skills and ability to effectively communicate design through compelling graphics.
  • Strong grasp of ESG integration, embedding sustainability and nature-based solutions into the master planning design process.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to create compelling design narratives and value propositions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, guiding junior planners and architects.
  • Experience in business development and bid preparation, contributing to the growth of a world‑class industrial master planning capability.
  • Passionate about the use of AI and innovation to create place‑based industrial master planning outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel for projects and embrace diverse cultures and ways of working.
  • Reporting to the Master Planning Practice Lead, based in London, UK.
