Arup is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Design Leader to spearhead urban design initiatives in either Vancouver or Calgary. You will oversee the delivery of intricate corridor projects involving roadway design, bus rapid transit systems, and sustainable urban developments. Work closely with municipalities to ensure traffic operations align with environmental objectives and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design of urban streets and arterial corridors

• Mentor staff and cultivate future design leaders

• Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration across teams

• Ensure successful commercial project delivery

• Serve as Bid Manager for civil-related projects

Requirements:

• P.Eng. certification in BC or AB

• 15+ years in roadway and transit design

• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams

• Strong public sector client experience

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
