The City of Vancouver seeks a Landscape Architect I to enhance its public spaces through sustainable design. This role requires a minimum of two years’ experience in landscape planning, project management, and construction. You will produce designs and facilitate GRI projects, while collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GRI design and landscape architecture initiatives

• Manage project implementation for public realm designs

• Evaluate sites and develop preliminary GRI designs

• Consult key stakeholders on project details and plans

• Prepare detailed drawings and cost estimates for GRI

Requirements:

• Degree specializing in landscape architecture

• At least two years’ experience in landscape design

• Professional license from BC Society of Landscape Architecture

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for plan production

• Strong understanding of GRI materials and construction methods
