Embark on a rewarding journey as a Landscape Architect I with the City of Vancouver, specializing in green infrastructure planning and design. Shape urban landscapes that promote environmental sustainability and community health.
In this full-time position, you'll focus on the design and implementation of Green Rainwater Infrastructure assets. You will evaluate sites, produce innovative design concepts, and prepare detailed layouts and specifications for construction. Collaborate with municipal stakeholders to champion effective public realm initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide project leadership in GRI landscape design
• Evaluate sites to develop preliminary design concepts
• Create construction-ready drawings and specifications
• Facilitate consultations with project stakeholders
• Manage the coordination of external consultants and GRI projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture; 2+ years' experience
• Must possess a BC Society of Landscape Architecture license
• Expertise in GRI materials and landscape design principles
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
