This full-time position at the City of Vancouver emphasizes strong project management and landscape architecture knowledge. You will oversee the design and implementation of green infrastructure projects and work closely with various project stakeholders. Previous experience in public open space architecture is essential for guiding projects from conception through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site evaluations for GRI planning
• Develop and manage designs for green infrastructure
• Coordinate with municipal departments and the community
• Create detailed drawings, including specifications and layouts
• Support construction management and project closeout
Requirements:
• Specialization in landscape architecture from a university
• Minimum two years in landscape design and development
• Licensed by the BC Society of Landscape Architecture
• Experience in AutoCAD drawing production
• Knowledge of urban landscape design principles
