Under the supervision of the Fisheries Manager, the Coordinator will spearhead the long-term planning and execution of fish habitat restoration within Musqueam’s Territory. You'll guide internal projects and build relationships with external partners while providing mentorship to staff and consultants. This role allows you to make significant contributions to environmental preservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Musqueam’s Aquatic Habitat Restoration Plan initiatives
• Advise on drafting invasive plant management strategies
• Conduct baseline study methodologies for aquatic resources
• Ensure field team alignment with restoration goals
• Coordinate training for field crew participants
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field
• 8+ years in fish habitat and environmental policy
• Knowledge of invasive plant management in BC
• Proven leadership in environmental project delivery
• Strong ability to manage budgets and financials
