As part of Municipal Services at UBC, the Landscape Architect effectively connects planning and operations, ensuring long-term asset stewardship. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop preventive maintenance and capital renewal strategies

• Coordinate asset inventories and condition assessments

• Advocate for sustainable and maintainable landscape practices

• Serve as a liaison between planning and operational teams

• Prepare design layouts, construction drawings, and reports

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in landscape architecture or related field

• Registration with the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects

• Six years of relevant experience or equivalent

• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement

• ISA Certified arborist preferred
