Our client in the healthcare sector is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer & 3D Specialist to join their growing team and play a key role in developing innovative modular furniture solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence how innovative work spaces are designed by creating scalable, functional, and cost-effective furniture solutions that support evolving operational needs.

Working alongside leadership, cross-functional teams, and manufacturing partners, you'll take ideas from concept through production using advanced CAD technologies, 3D modelling, and rapid prototyping. • You'll design and develop modular furniture systems, including desks, shelving, counters, and multifunctional work spaces using AutoCAD and advanced 3D modelling software.
• You'll prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, 3D models, manufacturing specifications, renderings, and production-ready documentation.
• You'll leverage 3D printing technologies to prototype custom components and validate design concepts.
• You'll collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing partners to refine designs, improve functionality, and support production.
• You'll recommend materials, finishes, construction methods, and sustainable design solutions while balancing quality and cost.
• You'll troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges, maintain organized project documentation, and contribute ideas that shape future product development.

• 5 to 8+ years of progressive experience in CAD design, 3D modelling, and furniture or product design, preferably with a focus on modular systems.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and experience using Solid Works, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing workflows, including model preparation, slicing software, materials, and prototyping.
• Demonstrated experience designing modular furniture from concept through manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, design-for-manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Creative problem solver with the ability to develop innovative solutions that anticipate future design needs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
