CHIL is seeking an Interior Design Director to lead the Vancouver studio in luxury hospitality and residential interiors. This role emphasizes design excellence and client-focused execution.

Ideal candidates will possess 15+ years of experience in the interior design industry, particularly within hospitality and multi-family sectors. You’ll oversee all aspects of design from concept through construction while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your leadership will drive project success and foster staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall design narrative and space planning

• Produce high-quality documentation for all project phases

• Present innovative concepts to clients confidently

• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards

• Foster strong client relationships and business development efforts

Requirements:

• CIDA-accredited degree or equivalent in Interior Design

• Proven leadership and business development abilities

• Familiarity with BIM and design software tools

• Solid understanding of construction documentation
