Senior Designer

Position: Senior Designer at WildBrain Studios
Elevate your design career with Wild Brain Studios as a Senior Designer in Vancouver or remotely. Collaborate on original animation projects and mentor emerging designers while maintaining show styles.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Art Director, executing key designs and rendering. You will use your creative expertise to guide new designers and ensure designs align with scripts and budgets. The role offers a chance to express your artistic vision while adhering to production schedules and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute advanced designs and renderings for animation

• Collaborate with modeling and design departments effectively

• Mentor and motivate new team designers

• Ensure designs meet production specifications and budgets

• Communicate design issues and solutions to the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in production design for animation

• Strong fundamentals in drawing and color

• Familiarity with Japanese anime aesthetics preferred

• Excellent multitasking and time management skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and team collaboration
