AtkinsRéalis Architecture & Design Canada Inc is on the lookout for a Senior Planner and Urban Designer with expertise in urban planning and community engagement. This leadership role encompasses directing urban planning efforts, developing effective design strategies, and enhancing public realm quality.
You'll work with governmental bodies and various stakeholders to deliver sustainable community designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead urban planning and master planning projects
• Develop strategies for complete and vibrant communities
• Prepare planning studies and design frameworks
• Facilitate client engagement and public consultations
• Support business development through client relationship building
Requirements:
• Degree in Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or related field
• 15+ years of relevant experience in urban development
• Experience collaborating with municipal and agency partners
• In-depth knowledge of planning and design principles
• Strong mentorship and facilitation skills
