Canada West is the largest privately owned veterinary specialty hospital in Western Canada. Spanning 26,000 sq ft, we offer services in the following disciplines: surgery, neurology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, rehabilitation therapy, critical care, and emergency services. We are a Level II Trauma Centre with all the advanced diagnostic tools and support to manage a challenging caseload including an in-house cytology and reference laboratory.

Our anesthesiologist would, directly and indirectly, oversee anesthetic and sedative care throughout the hospital and act as an expert and resource for others.

An ability to lead, inspire, and develop our dedicated and engaged team would be considered a highly desirable trait.

Preference will be given to candidates who are ACVAA or ECVAA Board-Certified.

British Columbia allows European Board-Certified to work under a “Specialty Private Practice” license without ECFVG certification/equivalency requirement.
