Vancouver Consultant Pathologist - Dermatopathology

Vancouver Coastal Health is hiring a Consultant Pathologist specializing in Dermatopathology at Vancouver General Hospital, offering a unique blend of clinical and academic responsibilities.

In this permanent position, you will work within an established team of Dermatopathologists while contributing significantly to the education of pathology residents and fellows. This role requires collaboration with research initiatives, administrative tasks, and delivering diagnostic expertise throughout the province. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic support for Dermatopathology services in BC

• Teach and mentor residents and undergraduate students

• Handle quality management and procedural committee work

• Collaborate with UBC's research programs

• Participate in departmental administrative tasks and initiatives

Requirements:

• Licensure with the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC)

• Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

• Desired FRCPC designation

• Certification in Anatomical Pathology or General Pathology

• Clinical Dermatopathology experience preferred
