Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Provincial Medical Director specifically focused on Resident Doctors Employment Affairs. This part-time position emphasizes the integration and quality of Resident Doctor training environments across VCH and partner Health Authorities. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic medical leadership for Resident Doctor employment
• Enhance integration within clinical training and delivery systems
• Develop strategies for quality Resident Doctor training
• Advise on emerging issues in medical education
• Support provincial physician workforce planning initiatives
Requirements:
• MD degree and licensure in good standing
• Senior medical leadership experience required
• Strong understanding of Resident Doctor training environments
• Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives
• Excellent communication and change management skills
