This is a full-time on-site role at the Vancouver School Board in Vancouver, BC. The role involves daily responsibilities such as developing and implementing educational programs, facilitating student learning, collaborating with staff, and engaging with the community. The applicant will be responsible for addressing the unique needs of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, and supporting students in reaching their intellectual, social, and physical potential.
Qualifications- Skills in Educational Program Development and Implementation, Curriculum Planning
- Proficiency in Student Engagement, Classroom Management, and Differentiated Instruction
- Collaboration and Teamwork skills with staff and community organizations
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Experience in inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
- A degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching certification valid in British Columbia
- Experience in multicultural and urban educational environments is a plus
