JOB DESCRIPTION St. Mary’s School is seeking a full-time Kindergarten teacher to nurture and inspire our youngest learners in a vibrant and faith-filled school community, commencing September 1, 2026. Our Kindergarten program lays the foundation for learning through play, exploration, and faith-based experiences. We are seeking a teacher who brings energy, warmth, and creativity to early childhood education. If you are a caring and creative early childhood educator who delights in play-based learning and helping children discover the joy of school, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic with a deep respect for Catholic teachings and values.
Certified teacher with experience in early childhood or kindergarten education.
Ability to engage young children of diverse backgrounds and adapt activities for early learners.
Strong classroom management, organization, and collaboration skills.
Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons and activities for Kindergarten students.
Create a welcoming classroom environment that fosters social-emotional growth, curiosity, and a love for learning in young children.
Collaborate with the other kindergarten teacher, primary team, and Learning Resource Teachers to support each child’s unique developmental needs.
