Position: Flexible Education Assistant BC
Join Heritage Christian Online School in Vancouver, BC as a Flexible Education Assistant. Support K-10 students’ academic and personal growth during part-time hours tailored to student needs.

This role, set for the 2026-27 school year, allows you to work closely with students in their homes, adapting to different learning styles while promoting their social and spiritual development. You will collaborate with Case Managers and parents to execute personalized learning strategies, fulfilling IEP goals consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate social and academic mentoring for students

• Differentiate learning approaches per individual needs

• Work closely with parents to devise personalized plans

• Help implement IEP goals with the support team

• Promote a collaborative and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Educational background or experience with children/youth

• Certificate or training in Educational Assistance is beneficial

• Subject matter understanding or willingness to learn

• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google tools
