In your role at Vancouver Community College, you will deliver lectures, organize practical projects, and assess student performance in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program. Your responsibilities will also extend to developing course materials and providing career advice to students. Active participation in college committees and adherence to policies will support a positive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Employ diverse instructional techniques, including labs and discussions
• Develop engaging curriculum and teaching aids
• Perform assessments to track and support student progress
• Offer guidance on program choices and careers
• Oversee practical training and project supervision
Requirements:
• Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning with Red Seal
• Preferred Class B Gasfitter Certificate
• 5 years of hands-on industry experience
• Completion of Provincial Instructor’s Diploma (preferred)
• Demonstrated organization and teaching skills
