Position: Education Assistant for Primary Students
Make a difference at Crofton House School as a full-time Education Assistant in Vancouver. Work alongside dedicated teachers to support the growth of Junior School students in grades 1 to 3.

This is a fixed-term role for the  school year, fostering a student-centered and inquiry-based learning environment. Collaborate with a dynamic team to assist individual learners, develop enriching programs, and ensure each student receives the tailored support they require. Your contribution will enhance educational experiences and promote essential skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to design enriching classroom programs

• Support individual and small groups of learners needing extra attention

• Document student progress and behaviour for effective intervention

• Assist with the creation of an inquiry-based learning atmosphere

• Supervise students during transitions and co-curricular activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Education Assistant Certification preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in educational settings

• Knowledge of inclusive practices for various learning needs

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to participate in co-curricular and school events
