Lions Gate Christian Academy is hiring a High School Science Teacher for the  school year in beautiful North Vancouver. Deliver an enriching curriculum while fostering a Christ-centered learning environment.

This role involves teaching science aligned with provincial standards within a Christian framework. The ideal candidate should focus on academic excellence, student mentorship, and spiritual growth while actively assessing progress and collaborating with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach curriculum effectively aligned with provincial standards

• Establish a positive, Christ-centered classroom atmosphere

• Evaluate and communicate about student academic progress

• Work collaboratively with staff on school initiatives

• Model faith and character growth for students

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid BC Teachers’ Certificate

• Provide statement of faith and philosophy of education

• Experience in a Christian educational environment

• Strong communication skills with parents

• Professional references demonstrating teaching capabilities
