Position: Senior School Career Guidance Counsellor Role
Elevate student success n’s School as a Senior School University and Career Guidance Counsellor in Vancouver, Canada. In this strategic position, you will empower students in Grades 6-12 as they explore their university and career options.

Your role will include organizing important university networking events and teaching Career Education, ensuring students are well-prepared for their next steps. Engage with students and their families to demystify post-secondary pathways and facilitate essential support during the application process. Your collaborative approach with faculty and the community will foster an enriching environment focused on student wellbeing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize events that connect students with universities

• Assist students with their university applications

• Provide guidance on course selections and graduation requirements

• Maintain student records and university-related information

• Conduct Career Education classes in line with BC curriculum

Requirements:

• Valid BC Certification of Teaching

• Experience in MYP and DP educational frameworks

• Strong communication and teaching skills

• Ability to foster supportive student relationships

• Knowledge of diverse learning strategies
